When your slippers are dirty, are you confused about how to clean them? The materials of the slippers are different, and their cleaning methods are also different. Next, I will recommend some ways to clean the slippers:
1.If the slippers are worn outside, wipe the sole with a damp cloth or baby wipes, or if the sole of the TPR is dirty and has a lot of mud we can try a brush (infused with mild soap) to remove any mud or grit.
2. If the slippers have food stains, we can't throw them directly into the washing machine for the sheepskin slippers. Sheepskin is dyed. If you throw it directly into the washing machine, the color will fade. If food falls on it, you should immediately wash it with water or use Wipe directly, don't wait for it to dry before cleaning, it will be more difficult to clean.
3.Machine wash cloth slippers
If you are machine washing fabric slippers, you can put them in the washing machine and wash them by hand, or hand wash them in a sink of warm water with about a teaspoon of strong detergent. Add the slippers to soapy water and let them soak for at least 30 minutes to lift the soil. Gently squeeze the solution through the slippers, then drain the soapy water.
Fill the sink with fresh water and rinse the slippers until no more suds appear. Gently press out excess water. Roll the slippers with a thick towel to help absorb water.
4.Most cow suede slippers have a shearling-lined interior. To clean and freshen the lining, sprinkle in a heavy layer of baking soda. Use the suede brush to work it into the lining and allow it to sit for several hours. Vacuum out the baking soda.
If the lining is heavily soiled, mix a solution of two cups of warm water and one teaspoon of wool wash or gentle detergent. Dip a soft cloth in the solution and wring until just damp. Gently scrub the interior of the slippers until the most visible soil is removed, and rinse the cloth frequently.
Finish by rinsing the cloth in clean water and wiping down the interior of the slippers to remove any soapy residue. Allow the slippers to air-dry for several hours. You can also use a blow-dryer on a low setting to dry the interior; use your fingers to work the fur to make it fluffy again.
